Labelling
Without prejudice to the general laws on food labelling, the label must include:
- the amount of product to be taken daily with a warning not to exceed
- the proportion of nutrients and / or characterizing substances with the possible name of the active substance for the daily dose
- the nutritional and physiological effect of the product, resulting from all of its ingredients
- that supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet, or "supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle,", quoted verbatim as in Regulation 1924/2006 for the health claims
- the warning Keep out of reach of children under 3 years
Moreover, the sources of vitamins and minerals used must be clearly indicated in the list of ingredients
